MEET THE TEAM!
Trained as both an engineer and musician, Todd has always been fascinated with opportunities that combine technical and artistic challenges. In addition, his interests in cognitive science and learning theory combine and fuel his passion for developing exhibits that entertain, engage, educate and inspire.
After 18 years as an international project management consultant, Todd had an opportunity to change directions and he launched 42DF with his friend and partner, Jack Kacian, and his wife, Christine. Today 42 Design Fab has a diverse and talented team of exhibit professionals, and they are doing their best work ever!
Outside of 42DF, Todd enjoys being outdoors – hiking, cycling, exploring, and he also enjoys coaching ski racing in the White Mountains of NH in the winter.

Ian is the ultra-flexible fabricator of the bunch. His skills range from cabinetry and basic woodworking skills, to CNC work, to acrylic vitrines, to metal fabrication.
He has recently taken over as the lead fabricator in the metal shop, where he can be found machining on the lathe, drill press, or Bridgeport Mill. More often than not though, he can be found with a welding torch in his hand and a smile on his face.
With his broad skill set and about a 90% install attendance rate, Ian is the man to have on an install site. His focus on presentation, efficiency, and organization keep clients happy while their new work is being installed.
Outside of 42, Ian can usually be found playing sports with friends, or sampling the local cuisine.

Terra Fletcher tackles design and project management, and is happy to work with you to find a creative solution to just about any design challenge.
Terra comes from a multidisciplinary background in education, museums, and exhibit design. She has bounced around the museum world, observing visitors, taking notes, and designing for play in aquariums, children's museums, and more.
When left to her own devices, Terra can usually be found painting or walking in the woods.

Sarah handles our project administration needs, and behind the scenes assures that procurement and logistics needs are met for each project. She comes to the 42 team with a 9+ year background in business and the arts.
Sarah holds an M.P.S. in the Business of Art & Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art as well as a B.F.A. in Studio Arts from UMass Amherst.
In her free time, Sarah can be found painting, coaching creative entrepreneurs, working with local makerspaces, and playing video games.
